Ring of Fire has a storied history of high-level ultimate reaching back to its first year in 1989. Our mission has always been to build the most competitive team possible from the best Raleigh, Durham and the rest of North Carolina have to offer. Ring of Fire is steeped in a tradition of hard work, brotherhood, and devotion to the sport we love. Our style is based on the principles of playing with passion, earning our worth, with no excuses and no regrets. In this pursuit, Ring of Fire has qualified for the UPA National Championships 15 out of the last 16 years, including the last 13 years in a row. Ring has competed in the national finals one time, the semifinals three times, and the quarterfinals six times. Ring has also earned the title of Mid-Atlantic Regional Champion 9 out of the last 10 years and qualified for the World Championships 3 times. We are looking forward to a strong showing in 2010 and hope to send Ring back to the World Championships.
